The journey of solidarity in Santo Domingo as well as allowing supporters to know the child who receives their contribution by supporting distance,  represents a valuable opportunity for any person who wants to be a resource within  a purely academic context.

Logistics: You will lodge in the community of the nuns in a basic but  hospitable rooms.

The articulation of activities at the College San Benito derives largely originates from the type of skills, passions and attitudes that characterize who leaves.

The teaching staff during the stay of the volunteers is organized in such a way as to leave room for possible recreational and/or educational activities to share with students.

The teaching of the Italian language, of the English language, computer classes and/or creative workshops are some examples of activities you can organize.

The possible range of activities will be arranged in advance with the representative of International Voluntary sector that will make itself known to the local head of the community before departure.

Beyond that the journey of solidarity in Santo Domingo can fit into the life of the community since together with the missionaries there will be the chance to  visit families living in the suburbs surrounding the school.

It is expected the presence of a Seeds of peace companion ( tutor) from the time of departure to the return to Italy.

Fee (per person excluding flights): 30 €

Price includes: training course before departure(n. 3 meetings); information kit + T- shirt Seeds Of Peace; accommodation with breakfast, lunch, dinner (when we are staying at the community); transportation to / from the airport in Santo Domingo; transportation for meetings organized by the community.
