Engaged in humanitarian projects, in some of the poorest countries in the world, Seeds of Peace has opened for over 15 years the borders to the trips of solidarity. The association offers the possibility to participate in volunteering experiences in the places where it operates in partnership with the local missionary communities.
The participants in the tour of the solidarity travelling will learn about children adopted at a distance and they have the chance to verify the projects that the association continues with the commitment and the sensitivity of many benefactors; they can experience with a sharp look at cultures and realities different from ours; they can gain a greater awareness on the problems that plague the earth; moreover they have the opportunity to promote the principle of solidarity to ensure a respectable life to those in need of help.
We prefer to have a face to face meeting with those who are interested in these trips as to raise the awareness and the necessary preparations. We also prefer to hold the meeting at our Headquarters in Cittadella ( located in Vigna Del Piano snc Tarquinia)
For the organizational and technical aspects, which are required by those approaching the world of international volunteering for the first time, it is important to know that the flight (round trip) and meals are of the responsibility of those who decide to leave.
For accommodation, Seeds of Peace, together with the host community, provides beds. In its many years of experience, it has always been in favor, along with the priority voluntary action under the chosen project , of the opportunity, which remains solely personal, to take a few days to take a trip to the tourist circuit of the hosting country.
